Plateau Valley Animal Hospital began in 2009 when Dr. Dennison and his family moved back to Collbran (where Clint was raised). The first office, called Plateau Valley Veterinary Clinic, was in a small building at his house. The practice moved to the old hospital building around 2015 when the new PV health clinic was built. PVAH moved to its current location in 2018 when Dr. Dennison bought the property and renovated the old cabin.

Payment Options
Plateau Valley Animal Hospital accepts (and recommends) the following finance programs that help pet owners make payments on the costs of their veterinary care. Through either program, pet owners may pay for a wide range of veterinary services, including routine checkups and vaccinations, emergency treatments, surgeries, medications, and dental care. We encourage you to check into both, as they have different features to meet your needs.

CareCredit works like a credit card: you can use it whenever the veterinary need arises. You make payments based on your balance and interest, and if you are in good standing, you can apply to increase your credit limit at any time.

Scratchpay is more like a bank loan. You apply for a new loan each time a new vet expense comes along, and then the needed amount is paid right to your veterinarian’s office.

After-Hours and Emergency Care
Unfortunately, we are a small clinic with one veterinarian, so it is nearly impossible to offer 24/7 care at two clinics. If you need emergency or after-hour care and are unable to reach us, we recommend you contact one of the Emergency Care Centers in Grand Junction.
